Antica vineria cirioleria - bistrò

We had our lunch here before we leave Rome and it was arguably the best meal we had in Rome. I'm happy to report that the high review scores did not disappoint. The lasagne was one of the best I've had in my life. The rigatoni dish was not only delicious, but also so big and filling. We also ordered some side dishes and they were fried and grilled really well too. I'd highly recommend a pasta meal here if you are in Rome. Yes the restaurant is a bit pricey, but their service was professional, attentive and friendly. Good atmosphere and bathroom facility.

This by far was one of our favorite restaurants of all Rome. It's definitely a hidden gem in the city and a must to visit. The food was outstanding and the service was phenomenal. The portions are great and prices arent bad. My wife and I went for dinner and she ordered the seafood spaghetti. The portion of the dish was huge with very big prawns,clams and types of seafood on top of delicious spaghetti. I ordered the devil hamburger and it was amazing! Its not just a normal burger trust me. We loved it so much we ended up going again the next day. We ordered other spaghetti and pasta and we were NOT disappointed. A gentleman that was very well dress took amazing care of us and recommended some phenomenal wines. They are very attentive and friendly.They have the menu in Iatlian but also available in English. One of the many great things I loved and will always remember this place by was the wine/drink menu. They hand you a tablet and let you see the regions of the wines. They also show you all the other beverages available like waters,spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks. I personally thought it was a great ad-on to our experience. You must visit this place if your in Rome you will not be disappointed.

There is nothing small about the food here, some of the best dishes I've ever had. I own a catering business and know a thing or two about freshness. We were seated upon arrival without issues. The food was absolutely delicious and the best I've had in Rome. The owner spoke with us a lot all while maintaining a smooth as silk service to each table as the place was packed when we arrived at 9pm. We ate here twice, my wife and I will be back next time when in Rome 😊

Came here for christmas day lunch, great choice! Had their regular menu and a special christmas menu. Wines were spot on and reasonable priced, food was excellent (amberjack carbonara, salmon and caviar gnocchi, bufala calzone and cotto pizza... Surprisingly the calzone won! Excellent!). Staff helpful and friendly amd large comfortable table in the back. Woudl recommend! Easy location and tempting meat and cheese selection.

The restaurant of our initial choice was (stress was) across the street from Ristochicco. Sadly, but oxymoronically good for us, it burned down across the street. It was my wife, 4 month old son and my parents looking for a more than decent meal off the tourist trap track. This is fully legit. Authentic enough that the English menus don’t make grammatical or vocabulary sense but the choice really can’t be wrong, whatever you choose. The wine list is amazing, with more than decent bottles starting at €15 and going up to €150+. We had 3 antipastas, 4 mains, 2 bottles of wine, two desserts and coffee and ended up at ~€160. Worth it. From 1330-1600 we were the only non-Italians in the restaurant. The owners were involved and the staff was super kind. Hit this place up!

We had a lovely dinner here! The staff was so kind and warm and helpful. The food was incredible! We had two veggie sides, meatballs, two pastas and two glasses of wine for 75 euro which we thought was a fantastic price for such an elegant restaurant and such good quality food. The pasta was cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious. Off the crowded street which was another bonus! Also, the restaurant changed name to S.Elena same chef as before apparently.
